Adam West - Batman

I grew up with 1989's Batman movie, but I've always had a soft spot for Adam West's Batman.

The sculpt is by Wicked.

This was a straightforward print, but it took longer than usual. I usually print at 50‑micron layers with my resin printer, but for this one I used 30 for better surface detail.

I also re‑sculpted the belt. The original had the wrong bat symbol.

The cape printed in three parts and wraps around the body, which made finishing tricky. Each piece had to be attached separately, which left visible exterior seams. I painted the interior first - its only seam is tight and tucked behind the legs - then masked the body, filled the exterior cape seams with clay, re‑primed, and painted the outside. I spent the most time on the face, reprinting about a dozen heads to get the flesh tones and eyes just right.
