While putting together sound effects for a game, I couldn't find or create the right sound. I was looking for a magical "sparkly" sound, kind of like wind chimes. So I wrote a script to make one.

This is an experiment to learn how to make a simple FPS game. I don't play many, and have never written one, so I was curious to see what it would take to build one from scratch.

I'm pretty happy with how my first Cosmic Key turned out, but there were a few issues I wanted to address in a v2 build. This build is a work-in-progress, so I'll be updating it as I go.

I've wanted a Cosmic Key since I saw Masters of the Universe back in the '80s. I still think it's one of the coolest movie props ever.
